This week’s Raw featured a sit-down interview between Jackie Redmond and Seth Rollins. The Visionary was asked about his motivations and intentions before facing CM Punk on Raw’s debut on Netflix in two weeks. With disdain in his eyes, the former World Champion made some serious comments before vowing to destroy The Best in the World in their next encounter.
Rollins revealed that he reached his breaking point when Punk and Roman Reigns joined forces at Survivor Series. He described it as the moment he decided to confront his demons and end The Second City Saint once and for all. Rollins stated that his anger had been building for years, and on Raw’s Netflix debut, it will all come to a head as he brings his fury to life against the Straight Edge Superstar.
You’re gonna see a side of me that no one’s ever seen — I got to extract this demon from my soul, like I gotta get it outta me, I gotta cut this cancer out of my brain, or I’m going down.

Moreover, Rollins called his upcoming match with Punk the biggest clash in the industry right now. He highlighted their deep history, branding Punk a hypocrite for attempting to tear WWE down until he needed the company’s support in 2023. The former Universal Champion declared it his duty to protect WWE from someone like the Chicago native.

Seth Rollins assessed his career against The Rock’s career in WWE
The Rock is undeniably one of the biggest names in sports entertainment history, with an incredible legacy and one of the finest careers in WWE. However, for Seth Rollins, his own career surpasses that of The Brahma Bull’s. In a recent interview, The Visionary assessed his career in comparison to The Great One’s legacy in WWE.

Speaking on the Jason Khalipa Podcast, The Architect emphasized that The People’s Champion’s full-time WWE career spanned just five years, from 1997 to 2002. In contrast, Rollins has surpassed a decade in the company. He pointed out that throughout these years, he has consistently performed week after week and has many more to come.
He was only in WWE for, like, five years. That’s it. Like, 97 to 02, and a little bit after that. But that was his main run. And I’ve already been with the company for, what, thirteen years?

Rock and Rollins were involved in a heated feud earlier this year. Rollins was a pivotal personality in the fall of The Bloodline chapter that transpired at WrestleMania XL. With the rumors of The Rock coming back for another run, it would be interesting to see if he confronts or even interacts with the former Shield member or not.
