Sheamus has been a mainstay in WWE for over 15 years and is widely regarded as a legend by many fans. He has won everything there is to win, except for one title: the Intercontinental Championship. The Celtic Warrior came one step closer to winning it on Raw, but his hopes were dashed by a former ally, Pete Dunne. After being brutally attacked, he sent a warning on social media.
The Irish wrestler took to X and shared a picture of himself, devastated by the fact that he couldn’t get over the line. He sent a message hinting that there would be consequences, indirectly expressing his hunger for revenge and making it clear that he wouldn’t forgive the former Brawling Brutes member for what he had done. Pete Dunne had already qualified for the No. 1 contender Fatal 4-Way match but prevented Sheamus from reaching the finals.
On the latest episode of Raw, the 46-year-old veteran battled Ludwig Kaiser and Braun Strowman in a triple threat match. Strowman was included in the match after his attacker, Bronson Reed, was pulled out due to testing positive for COVID. During the match, Dunne interfered and struck Sheamus with a shillelagh.

Looking to capitalize on a battered veteran, Kaiser attempted to execute his infamous move by placing him on the steel steps but failed. Finally, Strowman pinned Kaiser after delivering a running power slam to secure the victory. It wouldn’t be surprising if Sheamus interfered in the Fatal 4-Way No. 1 contender match next week to attack Dunne.
