Stefon Diggs’ male s**ual assault accuser defended himself. He denied the allegations that it’s a ploy to extort money from the free agent wide receiver.

TMZ caught up with Christopher Griffith recently and asked him whether he’s trying to earn money at Diggs’ expense. And the fact that Cardi B involved herself in the matter made a lot of heads turn.

Griffith quickly shut down the ‘crash-grab’ theory. Griffith claimed that he’s not a liar, but hinted Diggs could be hiding some valuable truth. Asked about Diggs calling him dishonest, Griffith replied, “I don’t know why liars lie.” In regard to Cardi B, Griffith said the mother of Diggs’ child believed a “liar.”

Griffith made it clear that he intends to see this matter through to the end.

Diggs filed a lawsuit against Griffith on October 1 for concocting a lurid story about him, stemming from an alleged incident at Stefon’s Rockville, Maryland home in May 2023. Griffith filed a countersuit. According to Griffith, he and Diggs hit several bars in Washington. After eating an alleged drugged “candy” offered by Diggs, the 31-year-old wideout tried to kiss him. Griffith also accused Diggs’ brother Darez of harassment.

Former NFL quarterback and football expert Tim Hasselbeck believes Diggs will suit the Kansas City Chiefs nicely.

I do see the fit in Kansas City because it’s a team that’s got an established quarterback that can deal with a big personality. Especially a guy that’s used to getting the football, who maybe would have to have a different role.

Tim Hasselbeck shared on ESPN’s NFL Live

Quarterback Patrick Mahomes needs a deep ball target. Right now, neither Rashee Rice nor Xavier Worthy possesses the efficiency of being a true red-zone threat. They are impeccable in short yards and running past players, but Diggs specializes in tricking the corners in the goal area.

[The Chiefs] have essentially said we’re going to rerun it with our starting receivers from a year ago. Who knows what’s going to happen with [Rashee] Rice? What his availability will end up being for the entirety of the season, I think that there’s value in Stefon Diggs in some role.

Hasselbeck said

Last year, the Chiefs relied on Tyquan Thornton as their deep ball specialist. Thornton looked like their man until Rice returned to WR1 duty and he fell out of favor.

How did Stefon Diggs perform in 2025?
