Minecraft has a variety of items that can be made or found by the players while exploring the world and collecting items. Since Halloween is coming, here are some steps to make Carved Pumpkin in Minecraft.

Halloween is the time of the year where the ghosts and spooks come out in every media to celebrate with candy and carved pumpkins! Minecraft also has some items that the players can make that symbolises the spirit of Halloween. These are mainly Carved Pumpkins and also Jack o’Lanterns that can be used as cosmetics to decorate the player’s structures and their world.

Pumpkins are a food block that can be found in the Villages, or in plains of the Overworld. These can be used to make a Pumpkin Pie as a great dessert, or even be used as a cosmetics in decorations.

Carving Pumpkin has been a tradition for Halloween for a long time and it is reflected in the game of Minecraft as well. Players can thus make an Carved Pumpkin in Minecraft very easily with simple tools.

Before starting off, players need the following items in order to accomplish it:

  • Pumpkin block
  • Shears
  • Lantern/Torch

Step 1: Pumpkins can be found around the world naturally generating in Village farms, or in Plains biomes.

Step 2: Break it using any tool or using hands, and pick up the block.

Step 3: Place it in your desired place and bring out the Shears.

Step 4: With the Shears in your main hand, click on the side of the Pumpkin, and the Carved face will be made. This is the Carved Pumpkin in Minecraft, which can also be worn as a Helmet.

Step 5: Players can additionally add a Carved Pumpkin with a Torch inside a Crafting Table, to make a Jack o’Lantern.
