New York City filled with celebrities on July 2 as friends, fellow musicians, actors and NFL stars gathered ahead of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding celebrations.
Several high profile guests were photographed around Manhattan before the festivities began, while others were seen arriving at Madison Square Garden for the couple’s rehearsal dinner on Thursday evening.
Among the first celebrities spotted in the city were Sabrina Carpenter, who was seen eating pizza at Emmett’s on Grove in the West Village on Monday, and Dua Lipa, who was photographed walking through New York after returning from her honeymoon with husband Callum Turner.
Camila Cabello was also seen walking through the city on Tuesday while wearing a Mexico soccer jersey. Actress Anya Taylor-Joy and her husband, Malcolm McRae, were photographed holding hands outside Electric Lady Studios.
The guest list extended beyond the entertainment industry. San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle and his wife, Claire Kittle, were spotted walking around New York on Thursday. Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford was photographed arriving at a Manhattan hotel after stepping out of a black SUV.
Dallas Cowboys linebacker Micah Parsons was also photographed enjoying coffee with a friend in the city before the wedding events. As the celebrations moved to Madison Square Garden, additional guests arrived for the rehearsal dinner. Bradley Cooper was photographed wearing a dark suit and sunglasses before getting into an SUV headed to the venue.
His girlfriend, Gigi Hadid, who is expected to serve as one of Swift’s bridesmaids, was reportedly seated in the back of a gray SUV. Swift’s longtime friend Ashley Avignone occupied the front passenger seat.
Singer Selena Gomez also attended the rehearsal dinner. Before arriving, she shared an Instagram Stories video showing her getting ready in a black dress paired with Fernando Jorge diamond Flicker Short Earrings and a Flicker Ring. Earlier that day, Gomez also posted a photo with her husband, Benny Blanco, writing, “I wish benny was here rn 💕.”
According to PEOPLE, several of Swift’s longtime friends and colleagues also attended the rehearsal dinner, including Jack Antonoff, Lena Dunham, Abigail Anderson, Erin Andrews, Charissa Thompson, Greg Olsen and Aric Jones.
The gathering came as wedding festivities officially got underway in New York, where approximately 100 guests were expected to attend the rehearsal dinner before larger celebrations planned for the following day.
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s rehearsal dinner brings family and friends together
Madison Square Garden was transformed for the rehearsal dinner as preparations continued throughout Thursday. Red curtains were installed outside the venue, while security personnel wearing blue wristbands monitored arrivals.
Taylor Swift’s SUV was seen entering the venue shortly before 4 p.m. Guests continued arriving throughout the evening as family members, close friends and members of both the music and sports communities gathered for the private event.
Travis Kelce’s mother, Donna Kelce, was also photographed arriving in New York on Thursday ahead of the festivities.
Page Six previously reported that the rehearsal dinner would host around 100 guests before a larger celebration expected to welcome approximately 1,000 attendees over the holiday weekend. The outlet also reported that publicist Tree Paine, Swift’s childhood friend Abigail Anderson, Jack Antonoff and his sister, sportscaster Erin Andrews and her husband Jarret Stoll were among those invited.
The rehearsal dinner marked the first major gathering of the wedding weekend, bringing together the couple’s closest family members, longtime friends and celebrity guests before the larger celebration scheduled to follow in New York City.
