Tennis sensations Carlos Alcaraz and Iga Swiatek were seen pairing up for the Arthur Ashe Kids’ Day event at the 2023 US Open, which was played in New York. They teamed up to play a match of ‘Tennis Soccer’, i.e., a match of tennis played on a tennis court but with a soccer ball and feet, against two members of the popular YouTube channel Dude Perfect. 

Carlos Alcaraz and Iga Swiatek started their respective campaigns in the 2023 US Open with the sole goal of defending their titles on 30th August and 28th August respectively. They are the top seeds of their respective categories and also the favorites. However, both Alcaraz and Swiatek will be up against phenomenal competition for the title this year from their immediate rivals.

Alcaraz will start his US Open 2023 campaign with his first-round match against German tennis player Dominik Koepfer. It is expected to be an easy matchup for him. The 20-year-old is one of the favorites to win the US Open Men’s category, as mentioned earlier. It will only be the third Grand Slam of his career if he is able to do so. However, he will receive fierce competition from the likes of players like Novak Djokovic, Jannik Sinner, Daniil Medvedev, and Holger Rune, to name a few.

Iga Swiatek, on the other hand, will face Swedish tennis player Rebecca Peterson in the first round. Her recent loss against Coco Gauff in the semi-final of the 2023 Cincinnati Open was a massive setback. However, she will look to make a comeback in this tournament, and fans are looking forward to it.

However, ahead of their campaign, they found time to participate in the kid’s event together in New York and seemingly had great fun. Their match highly entertained the tennis fans as well.

After the match was over, both players were seen ‘chest bumping’ each other, and this action won over the fans. Many of them are of the opinion that they should participate in the mixed doubles event together.
