Alexander Zverev accepts wild card entry into ATP 250 Montpellier tournament post Australian Open exit

Alexander Zverev is a German professional tennis player. His current ranking according to the Association of Tennis Professionals is World No.3 which is also his highest ranking. He has 19 singles career titles to his name. He won the tour finals in 2018 and 2021. He also has two doubles career titles.

He was seen competing for the ATP Cup at the start of this season where he won the second group stage by defeating Taylor Fritz with a score of 6-4, 6-4 but lost the next group stage to Felix Auger Aliassime with a score of 4-6, 6-4, 3-6. At the Australian Open 2022, he won the third round by knocking out Radu Albot with a score 6-3, 6-4, 6-4 but lost the fourth round to Denis Shapovalov with a score of 6-3, 7-6, 6-3.

According to the latest news Alexander Zverev will be seen at the Open Sud De France tournament which is going to commence next week. The official Twitter handle of Open Sud De France posted the news on their page.

Th tournament will start on 30th January, 2022 and end on 6th February, 2022. It will be held at the Montpellier Arena in Montpellier, France. It is commonly played on indoor hard court and is a part of the ATP Tour 250 series of the ATP tour.

The German seems to be in good form this season and aims to win the title. Although he had a rough start to this new season but he consistent on improving himself to score best.
