ATP Moselle Open 2021: Andy Murray vs Hubert Hurkacz LIVE stream: When, Where, and How to Watch

Andy Murray and Hubert Hurkacz

The ATP Moselle Open 2021 will see an exciting quarter-final clash when Andy Murray takes on Hubert Hurkacz for a place in the semi-finals of the tournament currently being held in Metz, France. Hubert has enjoyed good success this season while Murray is just becoming a regular on the season after having some fitness issues earlier in the season.

Murray reaches his first quarter-final on the ATP Tour for the first time since 2019 and will be looking to win his first title since 2019 when he won the 2019 European Open. Murray picked up a 3-set win over Ugo Humbert in the 1st round and followed it with a straight-set win over Vasek Pospisil in the Round of 16 to book his spot in the last-8.

Hubert reaches his 5th quarter-final of the season after having picked up titles at the 2021 Miami Masters and 2021 Delray Beach Open. He also made it to the semis of the 2021 Wimbledon. Hubert is the top-seed at the Moselle Open and having received a bye in the first round, he beat Lucas Pouille in straight-sets to advance into the quarter-finals.

Andy Murray vs Hubert Hurkacz
Andy Murray

Murray has been playing to his strengths and is making his opponents do the hard work while he has worked on his service, something he admitted himself, to get the extra points. He has fired 24 aces so far in the two matches he has played and has shown glimpses of vintage Andy on some points this week in Metz.

Hurkacz also had a good outing against Lucas in the 2nd round hitting 8 aces and having a good service game altogether. He just needed 68 minutes to wrap up the victory and had it not for Lucas saving 7 break points, Hurkacz could have finished under an hour.
