Cameron Norrie didn’t start off too well this year. The British player lost all three of his group stage matches in the ATP Cup; against Alexander Zverev (6-7, 1-6), Auger Aliassime (6-7, 3-6) and, against Taylor Fritz (6-7, 3-6, 1-6). He couldn’t make it past the first round in the Australian Open either, losing to Sebastian Korda (3-6, 0-6, 4-6). He picked up his game in the ATP Rotterdam Open, where he lost to Felix Auger Aliassime in the quarter-finals in straight sets (5-7, 6-7). As the first seed, Norrie prevailed over Oscar Otte in the second round (6-3, 7-5).

Sebastian Korda secured a spot for himself in the quarter-finals of the ATP Delray Beach Open after beating Thanasi Kokkinakis (6-4, 6-1) in the first round and Andreas Seppi (7-5, 6-3) in the second round in straight sets. Korda started the year strongly after knocking out multiple top-ranked players and reaching the Next Gen ATP Finals finals but unfortunately ended up as the runner-up against Carlos Alcaraz (3-4, 2-4, 2-4). He next got eliminated in the third round of the Australian Open against Pablo Carreño Busta (4-6, 5-7, 7-6, 3-6).
