Felix Auger-Aliassime vs Ugo Humbert: Preview

Ugo Humbert

Felix Auger-Aliassime has been tremendous in this year’s Noventi Open. He started off in great fashion defeating Polish tennis star Hubert Hurkacz in straight sets in the first round and has carried his form going further in the tournament. He has been stretched to the third-set only once in the tournament.

It was none other than Swiss tennis star Roger Federer who was defeated by Auger-Aliassime in the second-round clash. 10-time champion Federer won the first set, but Felix scripted a magnificent comeback and ended up winning the contest by 4-6, 6-3, 6-2.

Felix then went past Marcos Giron in straight sets to make his way into the semis. Humbert on the other hand has been in scintillating form as well. The Frenchman defeated seeded three Alexander Zverev in his second-round clash in a hard-fought game.

Humbert also went past Sebastian Korda in the quarter-final clash after dropping the second set and made his way into the semifinals. Humbert would now have to go past Auger-Aliassime to book a seat in the finals of the Noventi Open 2021.

Felix Auger-Aliassime vs Ugo Humbert: Prediction

Felix Auger-Aliassime

Felix Auger-Aliassime would be high on confidence as he recently defeated Roger Federer. Moreover, the last time Felix was up against Humbert, he ended up on the winning side. In the quarter-final meeting in Stuttgart Open, Felix dominated the proceedings and went past Humbert without much hassle.

Humbert has also played some quality tennis this season and he would be expected to give a tough fight to Felix. However, the odds are in favor of the Canadian tennis star.
