2-time grand slam champion Victoria Azarenka may not be in her prime but she has once again reiterated the fact why she is one of the cleanest hitters of the tennis ball. She gained her lost form towards the end of last season where she made it to the final at Indian Wells where she lost to Paula Badosa. She started the 2022 season at Adelaide where she reached the quarterfinals before losing to Iga Swiatek.

This week in Melbourne, she has played flawless tennis so far. The Belarussian blasted past Panna Udvardy in the first round before getting the better of Jil Teichmann in the second round. She then hammered Elina Svitolina in the third round in straight sets 6-0,6-2. She is yet to drop a set this week.
