The Olympic Bronze medalist and Seed 1 for the tournamet, Pablo Carreno Busta is all set to play his first match at the Winston salem today. The Spaniard will step on to the court after a very tough loss and surprising performance against the World no 2 Daniil medvedev in the Quarter-finals of the Cincinnati Masters. The two also had an epic clash at the Olympic Quarterfinals, where Pablo upset the latter.

Kwon soon-woo, ranked 78 in the world, comes through after beating the Molvodian tennis player Radu Albot in a 6-2, 7-5 result. The South Korean had a short stint at the Wimbledon this year making it only to the round 2 there. Kwon couldn’t get past the qualifiers in the recently held Cincinnati masters losing 6-3, 6-2 to the American Tommy Paul.
