Dan Evans vs Sebastian Korda: Preview
Dan Evans has been in incredible touch at Wimbledon thus far. He absolutely thrashed Dušan Lajović in his second-round clash. Evans didn’t score any aces in the match but still managed to win the contest without dropping a single set. Such dominant was his gameplay.
In fact, Evans hasn’t dropped a single set in the tournament thus far. He also defeated Feliciano Lopez in straight sets in the first round clash. Although Lopez stretched Evans in the first and third set, the British tennis star kept his cool and scored points at crucial instances, and eventually emerged victoriously.
Whereas 20-year-old Sebastian Korda has been sensational as well. He had to fight hard against Alex de Minaur in the first round encounter, but he went past French tennis star Antoine Hoang in the second round with relative ease. Korda thrashed Hoang in straight sets to book his place in the third round.
Korda and Evans have had pretty similar seasons this time around. Both of them were knocked out in the first round at the French Open. Evans came into Wimbledon after getting knocked out in the quarter-finals at the Queen’s Championships, whereas Korda last played in Halle Open in which he was defeated in the quarter-finals as well.

Both these players have not faced each other on the tennis court till now. Hence, the head-to-head record stands at 0-0.
Dan Evans vs Sebastian Korda: Prediction
Both the players are evenly matched. However, as far as grass court is concerned, Evans has a much better record than Korda. Evans has won 15 of his 31 singles matches on grass, whereas Korda has won just four. Hence, the odds are slightly in the favor of Evans, but Korda will not go down without a fight.
Prediction: Dan Evans to win in 4 sets.
