Nick Kyrgios vs Felix Auger-Aliassime : Preview

Nick Kyrgios enters the 3rd for the 5th time at Wimbledon as he defeats Italian Gianluca Mager 7-6(7), 6-4, 6-4 in the 2nd round after an extended 1st round match against Frenchman Ugo Humbert that went on for 2 days and also saw Nick escaping an injury scare after the play resumed on Day-2 of the match.
Kyrgios is playing in his first tournament time since his 3rd round defeat at the 2021 Australian Open but has looked in great shape and form as he moves into the 3rd round.
Felix Auger-Aliassime moves into his 2nd consecutive 3rd round at the Championships after reaching the stage in the 2019 Wimbledon as well where he made his debut at the All-England Club. Felix was up against Mikael Ymer and went on to defeat the Swedish player 6-4, 4-6, 7-6(4), 6-1 to progress ahead.
Felix is currently playing his 3rd Grass tournament of the season after making his Grass debut at the ATP Stuttgart Open 2021 where he finished as the runner-up and later reached the semi-finals of the ATP Halle Open 2021 losing to eventual winner Ugo Humbert.
Nick Kyrgios vs Felix Auger-Aliassime : Head to Head

This will be their 2nd career meeting as they previously met in the 2nd round of the 2019 Queen’s Club where Felix emerged victorious in 3-sets and leads the head-to-head tie 1-0.
Nick Kyrgios vs Felix Auger-Aliassime : Prediction

Kyrgios will take the court with a career Grass record of 33-18 and an overall season record of 6-2. It can be a tiring game for the Australian as he will be playing his 3rd match in 3 days as he is set to play Mixed Doubles with Venus Williams on 2nd July, 2021.
Felix will come into the clash with a career Grass record of 16-5 and an overall season record of 22-13 which includes a 8-2 record on Grass this season. The match can go either ways as both players have the potential to swing it their ways, but Felix will remain the favourite for this clash given his better form on Grass this season. But with Kyrgios, it will definitely be an entertaining clash.
Prediction: Felix-Auger Aliassime to win in 5-sets.
