“LOVE YOU” Lewis Hamilton leaves an adorable comment supporting the Williams Sisters’ promotion of King Richard

Formula 1 ace Lewis Hamilton’s bond with the Williams sisters, Serena and Venus, is well known. The sporting trio have been seen supporting each other publicly, giving fans frequent tennis and F1 crossover. Recently, the British racecar driver left a sweet comment on Serena Williams’ Instagram post, which made fans swoon.

Hamilton (MBE) is a racing driver from Great Britain. He competes in Formula One events, under the banner of Mercedes. Previously, he represented the British team McLaren (2007-2012). Last year, Hamilton joined the ranks of the legend Michael Schumacher, after winning a record 7th World Driver’s Championship Title. Some of his other records include the most wins (103), pole positions (103), and podium finishes (181).

Lewis Hamilton is so far the only, ‘black driver’ to race in the Formula One series, an event usually dominated by the racial elite. Likewise, the Williams sisters also dominated tennis, overcoming innumerable racial stings and slurs. As such, the sporting trio have a lot in common. They have constantly supported one another professionally, showing up at each other’s tournaments and cheering from stands.

As such, it was only natural for Hamilton to support the sisters in a personal venture. King Richard, the biopic of Richard Williams, father and ex-coach of the Williams sisters, was released last month. Prior to that, during the days of movie promotion, Serena took to Instagram to share a picture of herself with Venus, captioning it “A sisters bond is unbreakable.”

Amongst a flood of comments, the ones that stood out were Venus and Hamilton’s. Venus was quick to reply “For life!!”; while Lewis Hamilton wrote “Love you two!!”.
