Serena Williams hasn’t played a match in nearly 8 months and is yet to give an update about her return. But the 23-time Grand Slam champion has been enjoying her time off-court as she keeps herself occupied with her business endeavors and endorsement deals. Apart from her illustrious tennis career, Serena has lucrative brand sponsors as well as investment avenues for herself.

Serena took to Instagram to share a montage of her best moments of March. The American kept herself occupied with photoshoots for the different brands while also spending quality time with her family and also not to mention, the Oscars. The award ceremony might have been overshadowed by Will Smith’s infamous slap against Chris Rock, but it was a moment to relish as her father’s biopic, King Richard bagged the top honors for Best Actor. The collection of clips included Serena spending time with her daughter Olympia, the Paris Fashion Week, and also on the red carpet at the Academy Awards.

Serena hasn’t played a match since her first-round match in Wimbledon last year, where she was forced to retire mid-match with a leg injury after she twisted her ankle during the first set. The American hasn’t given any update on her injury and is yet to announce her return to the tour. As a result of this, she plummeted down the rankings and is out of the top-200, she is currently ranked No.240 in the latest WTA rankings.

Serena recently addressed rumors about her retirement, the American didn’t give a specific timeline about her return but said she has plans in place already for her retirement. Williams might be looking to make a comeback to give one last shot at winning another Grand Slam. With 23 Grand Slams to her name, the American sits in the second position for winning the most Grand Slams, behind Margaret Court, who won 24. The 40-year-old hasn’t won a Grand Slam in nearly 5 years. Although she reached four finals since winning her 23rd title at the Australian Open in 2017, she couldn’t cross the final hurdle.
