8. John McEnroe, Mats Wilander, Stefan Edberg, Andy Murray – 11
With 11 finals played, four tennis legends come up in 8th place on the all-time list of most Grand Slam finals played. American legend John McEnroe, Swedish legends Mats Wilander and Stefan Edberg, and British three-time Grand Slam champion Andy Murray are the 4. Out of this, McEnroe and Wilander were able to win seven Grand Slams, whereas Edberg was able to convert six of those finals into titles.
7. Jimmy Connors, Andre Agassi – 15
American legend Jimmy Connors, who has the record for the most number of finals played and titles won, comes up in 7th place along with compatriot Andre Agassi on the all-time list of most Grand Slam finals played. Out of this, both Americans were able to convert them into eight titles.
6. Bjorn Borg- 16
With 16 Grand Slam finals played, Swedish legend Bjorn Borg comes up in 6th place on the list of most finals played by men. He was able to win 11 titles out of these, making him 4th on the list of Grand Slam titles won.
5. Pete Sampras- 18
American legend Pete Sampras who once had the record for most Grand Slams won by winning 14 comes in fifth place on the all-time list of most Grand Slam finals played by men.
4. Ivan Lendl – 19
The 8 time Grand Slam champion Ivan Lendl has the legacy of playing 19 finals. This makes him fourth on this list.
3. Rafael Nadal- 30
The Spanish Great Rafael Nadal comes up at number 3 with 30 Grand Slam finals played. The 22-time Grand Slam champion is currently leading the all-time race of most slams won along with Novak Djokovic.
2. Roger Federer- 31
The Swiss Maestro Roger Federer with 31 Grand Slam finals played comes second in this list. He was able to win 20 titles, making him second on that list as well.
1. Novak Djokovic- 34
With the 34th Grand Slam final scheduled to be played with Casper Ruud tomorrow, Novak Djokovic tops this list. Currently, the Serbian, with 22 slams won, is sharing the top spot with Nadal. The tennis world is looking forward to seeing whether Djokovic can win his 23rd and top that list as well.
