French Open 2021: Rafael Nadal vs Diego Schwartzman LIVE stream: When, Where, and How to Watch
Rafael Nadal and Diego Schwartzman
‘King of Clay’ Rafael Nadal will be up against Argentinian tennis star Diego Schwartzman in the quarterfinals of the French Open 2021 on Wednesday. Evidently, these two players faced each other in the semifinals of the French Open last year as well where Nadal thrashed Schwartzman in straight sets by 6-3, 6-3, 7-6.
It’s no secret that Rafael Nadal is absolutely magnificent on the clay court. The Spaniard recently thrashed Jannik Sinner in straight sets by 7-5, 6-3, 6-0 in his fourth-round match on Monday. Moreover, the southpaw has not lost a single set in the tournament thus far. Tenth seed Diego Schwartzman has a truly uphill task in front of him.

Rafael Nadal vs Diego Schwartzman: Live Stream details
The 13-time French Open champion has been impossible to stop. Nadal was stretched a little bit by Sinner in his last game in the first set. However, as the game progressed, Nadal turned a tight encounter into a one-sided affair. Nadal has also gone past Alexei Popyrin, Richard Gasquet and Cameron Norrie before thrashing Sinner without much hassle.
Whereas Diego Schwartzman on the other hand has also won all his matches in the French Open 2021 without losing a set. However, he was stretched quite to a bit by the German tennis star Jan-Lennard Struff in the fourth round clash. Schwartzman won the game in straight sets by 7-6, 6-4, 7-5 but Struff did give him a tough competition in the first and third set.
Schwartzman is now up against the ‘King of Clay’ and it would be an entertaining contest. However, recent form and the head to head history between the two champions clearly suggests that odds are in favor of Nadal as far as confirming a seat in the semi-finals is concerned.
