Alexander Zverev’s girlfriend Sophia Thomalla recently opened up on her relationship with the 2020 US Open runner-up. A documentary on the private life of Alexander Zverev will soon be released on RTL+ where Sophia Thomalla, who is a German actress and TV Presenter, speaks about the challenges the couple face.
She reveals that the couple do not share a simple life together, given the fact that Zverev stays busy on the tour with hectic traveling schedules and intimidating physical strain every year. Thomalla stated that her life with all the professional hassle is exhausting as well, which makes it difficult for the couple to spend much time together. However, the German actress did not forget to mention that Zverev is her closest confidant.
In 2020, Alexander Zverev hit the headlines for the accusations of domestic violence made by his former girlfriend Olga Sharypova. After a 15-month long investigation by the ATP, Zverev did not face any disciplinary action on the grounds of insufficient evidence. Thomalla’s statement stands as a testimony in this regard and will bring a lot of clarity to the harrowing accusations that the ATP icon is facing at the moment, helping his fans see him in a better light.
