In a very fun interview from Tennis Channel, four of the shining young stars Naomi Osaka, Taylor Fritz, and others were asked about their dream Mixed Doubles Partners who had retired and they came up with some really exciting legends of the sport.

Playing a mixed doubles match requires really great rhythm between the players and coordination. Picking a player who could be your potential partner needs a lot of consideration. It should be someone who is complimenting your style of play.

However, we are not sure if these players took all that into consideration but their answers looked really exciting. It all started with Naomi Osaka and Paula Badosa who were both quite straightforward while picking the legendary Andre Aggasi to be their dream mixed doubles partner.

Naomi Osaka said, “Hopefully he could teach me how to return as well as him. It’ll just be like an unstoppable wall.” She seemed to be really excited by the thought of playing with Aggasi.

Badosa was smirking throughout the interview she said, “I think how he returns will make everything easier”

After Naomi Osaka and Paula Badosa it came to Taylor Fritz who being a nice son said that in the case of choosing a retired player he will his mother Kathy May who has been a former world No.10. He said, “If it has to be a retired player then I’ll play with my mom. My mom would be better at net for sure. We played mother and son back in the day and she was obviously better than me because I was like 10.”

The most awkward and hilarious part of the interview was to watch poor Jannick Sinner come up with a name for a mixed doubles partner. He was really confused at first and said, “I never thought about that. I am not a great doubles player”. Then, after considering his options and taking some time to think he said, “I got to know Maria Sharapova and I think she is one of the greatest champions.”
