Andrey Rublev has been one of the most consistent players in the world of tennis for quite a few years now. Despite not winning much silverware, he has kept his steady spot in the Top 10 fixed and has also won a total of 14 titles in his career so far. Recently, Andrey Rublev defeated Grigor Dimitrov of Bulgaria to win the UTS Frankfurt Showdown, which is a pretty decent achievement for the Russian.

Not many people know that the 25-year-old has a fashion brand of his own named Rublo, which was also the nickname that he used at UTS Frankfurt. The slogan of his brand, Rublo, is, “’Play for the kids, play for the light.” After winning the tournament, the player was asked the meaning behind this particular slogan, to which he gave a very fitting reply.

Rublev said that the energy of each child is very pure and honest and it is of utmost importance to save this purity for as long as possible. Thus, he said that the slogan denotes exactly this and the fact that, sadly, many kids are not able to have normal lives.
