As a result, the step turned out to be responsible, because the priest made such a speech that I even said: “What should Danya do then, since I have to follow this?” To which the priest said that Daniel must support his family. I asked if it was possible to change, because it looks like I have many times more responsibility than Dani (laughs),” the current world No.6 said.

He also listed the responsibilities he has now embarked upon with.

“Now I am responsible for making her believe in God. I also have to pray for her every day, and also make sure that she does not take off her cross, that she grows up as a good and kind person!,” he continued.

Andrey Rublev is heading straight to Bosnia and Herzegovina to play in the Banja Luka Open.

The Banja Luka Open, also known as Srpska Open, is going to replace Belgrade Open on the ATP Tour this year. This ATP 250 tournament will be played on clay. This is the first time this tournament is being played in this part of the world.

Andrey Rublev is going to enter this tournament with head-high and immense confidence. He recently won his career’s first ATP Masters 1000 tournament. He beat Holger Rune who is a brilliant player on clay in the final of the Monte-Carlo Masters 2023. Hence, he is going to be the favorite for this tournament.

However, his path to triumph may not be that easy. The 22-time Grand Slam champion Novak Djokovic is eager to win his first title on the clay this season. Besides him, Borna Coric, Miomir Kecmanovic, Jiri Lehecka and Stan Wawrinka, amongst others, would also impede his path. Hence, Andrey Rublev would need to perform his best to emerge victorious in this tournament.
