Roger Federer, the 41-year-old Swiss tennis professional is undoubtedly one of the greatest tennis players of all time. With 20 grand slam titles to his name, Federer has etched his name in the history of this sport. The Swiss icon recently broke millions of hearts as he announced his imminent retirement from the sport.

American tennis legend, Andy Roddick recently heaped a lot of praise in the name of the retiring legend. Roddick said, ” I hope my son, if he has a hundredth the success as Roger has even one day of his life, is as gracious as Roger is. Not only to the other players or to the officials.

You live in locker rooms and you see people throw grip tape on the floor and they walk away. That was never Roger Federer. There was never a sense of entitlement, there was always a ‘please’, always a ‘thank you’.
