Australian Open champion Aryna Sabalenka was gifted a pendant from her boyfriend Konstantin Kolstov for yesterday’s Valentine’s Day celebration. The World No. 2 shared the gift on social media, labeling it a successful celebration.
The Belarusian, who defended her Australian crown last month, has opted for a longer break and didn’t feature in the Abu Dhabi or Qatar tournaments.

However, she celebrated the day of love with her boyfriend, Konstantin Kolstov, and even shared the special gift with her fans and followers. They both made their relationship public in June 2021. Sabalenka revealed the Valentine’s gift on her Instagram story.

It was a tiger pendant from Cartier. For context, the Belarusian has a tiger tattoo on her forearm. She got it when she was 16. Her mom hated it, but it holds meaning to her. Meanwhile, Koltsov is a former ice hockey player who played in two Olympic Games. He is reported to have three sons, Daniel, Alexander, and Stefan, from a previous relationship.

Aryna Sabalenka and World No. 1 Iga Swiatek are the top seeds ahead of the Dubai Duty-Free Tennis Championship, which starts on February 18. The competition features the entire Top 10 players.
With the Abu Dhabi Open over and the WTA 1000 tournament in Doha already in its final stages, players are looking at either winning the Dubai title or reaching the last eight, which will help them climb higher in the WTA Live rankings.

Aryna Sabalenka lost to Dubai champion Barbora Krejcikova in the quarterfinals last year. The Czech went on to defeat Iga Swiatek in the final; however, the Czech is not returning to defend her Master 1000 title in Dubai.
Sabalenka remains the favorite to win the Dubai title after her excellent performance at the Australian Open, in which she didn’t lose a set. Coco Gauff, Elena Rybakina, and World No. 5 Jessica Pegula will also feature in Dubai. Rybakina, with two titles this year, will be hoping to go past her runner-up place in 2020.
