Boris Becker has revealed some interesting facts about his personal life in his latest documentary. The documentary titled ‘Boom! Boom! The World vs. Boris Becker’, will premiere on April 7 on Apple TV+. The trailer for the two-part series has already been launched recently, where the six-time Grand Slam champion is seen making some surprising revelations.

Boris Becker stated that he received a ‘wake-up’ call after the one-night stand with a Russian model back in 1999. This was the reason for the failure of his first marriage with Barbara. The incident occurred in the Nobu Establishment in 1999, just after Boris Becker had lost to Pat Rafter at Wimbledon. Boris Becker and wife Barbara were expecting their second child in a month’s time.

Boris Becker later reveals that he met Ermakova eight months on from their one-night stand to find out that she was pregnant with her child. Initially, he had denied paternity, but DNA tests revealed otherwise in 2007. His relationship with Barbara ended in 2001, as they split ways after the affair came to light.

Boris Becker was released from prison, after spending just eight of the stipulated two and a half years timeframe. He was put behind the bars for fraudulently hiding his assets to pay off the debt during bankruptcy. It is directed by Oscar winner Alex Gibney who has put together a documentary to explore the life of the German.

In 2009, he married Sharlely ‘Lilly’ Kerssenberg as the couple had a son named Amadeus just a year later. Upon his release from the prison last year, Sharlely has claimed that he has not been paying any maintenance or the school fees for their child. Boris Becker has been banned from entering the UK, but is working to reach an agreement with the Wimbledon authorities, which will help him continue as a commentator.

The documentary is certainly expected to be a big hit among the fans, given that Boris Becker will give a deeper look into his real life. The trailer has already started doing the rounds on social media, as fans cannot wait to see the documentary unfold.
