Both Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner are two of the finest young players of the coming generation. The two young players went through a fabulous 2023 season. While Alcaraz clinched his second Grand Slam major, this season, Sinner made sure that he too finished the season at a high by winning the Davis Cup with Italy. Italy last won a Davis Cup title in 1976.

There have been various debates and discussions going on in the tennis circuit regarding what are the skills that make them different from each other and how the future holds for both of them. Cameron Noorie, the British ace, had an interesting say regarding this.

During his conversation at the LTA’s National Tennis Center in London, Noorie said,

I think Alcaraz will do better than Sinner next year. I think Alcaraz has a more complete game. He moves better than Sinner, has more variety on the forehand, better drop shots, he volleys better than Sinner. More skillful with the slice. So, I'd say Alcaraz has a better year than Sinner. Let's see, I could be wrong.

Noorie himself has lost four games against Alcaraz while winning two. The Brit still hasn’t had the opportunity to play against Sinner. The statement will raise a fair debate in the tennis circuit regarding who is better among the two. With the 2024 season around the corner, all eyes will be on them to see how the two young players perform.

Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner- two players to watch out for in the future?

Apart from the techniques, the hunger to win is what separates them from the rest of the young talents. That Wimbledon final against Novak Djokovic will be one of the moments to remember for the Spaniard.

He remains the only player this season to defeat Nole in the Grand Slam events. Sinner too had fared well against Djokovic. His performances against Nole in the semis of the Davis Cup are the reason for Italy reaching the finals of the Davis Cup.

Head-to-head, both of the players have met on seven occasions. Sinner leads the winning tally 4-3 against Alcaraz. The Spaniard too has admitted the fact that he has faced problems while he is playing against Sinner. The latest meetup between the two came during the China Open, where Sinner again managed to get past the Spaniard.
