Novak and Rafa are exceptional. They have the ability to step forward when needed, which is not my case. It’s something that I want to develop, to have the confidence in myself to be able to do it. I hope that this year, I can contribute to this confidence. Facing Rafa at Roland Garros and Novak at the Masters are some of the toughest challenges we face. I don’t feel too bad about not being able to beat them. It gives me motivation and hunger for the next opportunity,” he said.

Casper Ruud earned 800 points for his showing at the Championship match of the 2022 ATP Finals. He also jumped one position up to World No.3 from No.4 in the ATP rankings.
