Casper Ruud calls his sisters ‘clout chasers’ as a video of his sisters imitating him goes viral
Casper Ruud jokingly declares his sisters clout chasers as they were seen playing like him in a recent video.

Casper Ruud had some fun in an interaction with hosts Steve Weissman and Prakash Amritraj during a TV interview for Tennis Channel. He was asked to make comments on a video that was shown to him in which his sisters were acting like him wearing his apparel and holding his tennis rackets.
The current World No.4 was really embarrasseded. He did make some comments which made his hosts bursting into laughter. Eminent sports journalist Bastien Fachen shared an excerpt of this interview on social media.
“Yeah, I approve. I mean they are just in my closet taking out whatever I wore last year. You know they are…I am giving them some sort of…They are really into it…I’m sort of giving them some of…I toyed with them a little bit and say that, don’t do it much, I call them ‘clout chasers’, because they are using my status, they are using my clothes to get some views themselves. So, i have to give them little bit shit back as it is,” he said.
When one of the hosts informed Casper Ruud that this video got 162,000 views, Here’s what he had to say.
“They are using my clothes to get something for their own so its…It’s got to this point now and the family where we can have fun with each other,” he continued.

Casper Ruud’s chances at the Indian Wells Open 2023

The current World No.4 wants to improve his record at the Indian Wells Open. Last time when he played here, he could only manage to reach till the second-round of the tournament. He lost to Nick Kyrgios 6-4, 6-4. However, this time he would like to make deeper in-roads in this prestigious tournament.
Casper Ruud, however, is struggling with form this season. He started his 2023 season by participating in the ASB Classic tournament. He was knocked out of this tournament in the first-round by Laslo Dere. He then participated in the Australian Open. However, he lost to Jenson Brooksby in the second-round in four sets. The Norwegian then participated in the Mexican Open but was knocked out in the second round.
He has started his campaign in the Indian Wells Open by winning his first-round match against Diego Schwartzman 6-2, 6-3. He will play against Cristian Garin in his second-round fixture. However, the level of competition will increase as he reach into the advanced stages of the competition. He will also be playing as doubles pair with Dominic Thiem too in this competition.
