Daniil Medvedev has praised the Wimbledon crowd for the immense support they provide to the players. In an on-court interview, after his third-round win, Medvedev liked the fact that the Wimbledon crowd supports the player who is on the losing side more than the player who is leading.

The World No. 3 believes the support raises the confidence of the one who is losing and the match too gets exciting, with chances of a turnaround. lavishing the praise, Daniil Medvedev said, “Honestly what I love about the Wimbledon crowd, they always go for the one who is losing or they want to see five sets… I think it’s fun to be supporting the one that is a little bit down in the match, to try to get him up. It’s tough for the one who is winning but it’s quite fair so I like it.”
