Tennis great Martina Navratilova is someone who never shies away from expressing her views on social media on various topics. In other words, Navratilova always has an opinion and is not afraid of letting everyone know about it.

Recently, Ye (formerly known as Kanye West) made a series of controversial anti-Semitic remarks after which numerous appeals have been made to big sponsors such as Adidas and others to stop endorsing the rapper. Although Ye said that he did not regret his remarks, he made a partial apology recently by saying, “I’m sorry for the families of the people that had nothing to do with the trauma that I have been through.”

In recent times, many popular brands have announced they would stop sponsoring Ye, including Balenciaga and Gap.

Navratilova furthered the same sentiments by persuading Adidas to also drop Ye, who had recently bragged about how the apparel brand was not punishing him despite him having made anti-Semitic comments.

A few months back, the US Supreme court revamped the abortion law and which gave the state government power to ban abortion. Many states, especially those ruled by the Republicans, banned abortion and Martina has been voicing her opinion about it for months now.

In one of the articles by HuffPost, Georgia considered a fetus to be a person and cited that as a reason to defend the abortion ban. Navratilova expressed her rage over such a mentality and revealed that over one million pregnancies in the US end in miscarriages and questioned how the Republicans are going to investigate every single one of them.

“About one million of pregnancies in the US end in miscarriages. Think about it. Are these republicans really going to investigate every one of them? How? Small government my ass…” Navratilova tweeted.

On the tennis circuit, Navratilova was last seen at the US Open. She was involved with the panel and was even present during the trophy presentation ceremony during the final.
