“How hard is it to leave people’s personal life alone?” Renowned media house gets slammed by fans for breaching Rafael Nadal’s privacy regarding the birth of his child
Rafael Nadal
After months of stress and struggle, Rafael Nadal and his wife Mery Perello were blessed with a baby boy last week. Nadal’s wife had serious pregnancy in the last two months. When Nadal was in New York for the US Open, she was hospitalized and was under constant observation for the next two months.
While the news of Rafa’s son being born came out immediately, Rafa himself took to social media to thank his fans for sending wishes and congratulatory messages. “Hello everyone. After a few days and many loving messages I just wanted to thank you all! We are very happy and everyone is very well! A big hug” Nadal wrote on Twitter.
As reported by Majorca Daily Bulletin, Nadal and his wife along with their son are finally back home after staying in the hospital for two weeks after childbirth. But the media house has come into the radar of tennis fans for not respecting Nadal’s privacy. Visuals of Nadal leaving with his family from the hospital were reported which is a breach of Nadal’s privacy in this intimate time.
They even mentioned the room number in which Mery and the baby stayed for over a week. A month ago, the Nadal family had asked the media to give them some privacy after the hospital details of Mery’s admission were leaked.
