Frances Tiafoe, the 24-year-old American tennis professional has made quite a name for himself after his performance at the 2022 US Open. He managed to reach the semi-final of the tournament before getting eliminated by eventual champion Carlos Alcaraz. The American’s popularity has doubled due to his heroics in the tournament.
Tiafoe impressed throughout most of his hard court swing as he went into the final stages of many tournaments. The American managed to reach the semi-finals of the Atalanta Open and the quarter-finals of the Citi Open. He was however unable to go all the way in any of the events, much to his disappointment.

Frances Tiafoe has a twin brother named Franklin Tiafoe. Born on the 20th of January, 1998, Franklin Tiafoe is a tennis player just like his brother and is currently trying to make it big. Franklin has played some ITF tournaments so far and is eager to make a name for himself and not just be known as Frances Tiafoe’s brother.
When the two brothers were young, their father Frances Sr. would often bring them to the JTCC in College Park, Maryland. Frances and Franklin would help out by throwing out the trash, clearing up the balls, and watering the clay courts. The boys were always eager to pick up the racquet and play tennis whenever they had the chance.
Franklin was often considered the wilder of the two brothers as Frances Tiafoe was always his calm and composed self. Frances went on to become a top player, one of the best in the world whereas Franklin lacked behind as he never trained consistently with a coach.
Frances Tiafoe reached his career high rank of World No. 19 after his heroic performance at the US Open. Unfortunately, he was unable to win the title but he sure earned a lot of admirers across the globe.
