“I disagree with Novak Djokovic completely” Martina Navratilova still not impressed with Serbian star’s vaccination stance

Martina Navratilova, Novak Djokovic
Tennis great Martina Navratilova has clarified her stance on former World No.1 Novak Djokovic, saying that she still disagrees with him when it comes to his anti-vaccination views.
Navratilova sounded frustrated after some of Djokovic’s fans took offense at her recent statements, suggesting that she was biased while remarking that the Serbian enjoyed most of his support only in his home country.
Navratilova specifically replied to a user thread that said, “@CristinaNcl I find @Martina to be really mean to Novak every opportunity she gets. Why? Its hard to understand. He is charming, genuine, kind. Martina please spend some quality time with Novak. Maybe visit Belgrade tournaments next year. It will help you see the real Djokovic.”
When another user in the thread suggested that the former women’s champion had changed her views about Djokovic after the Australian Open vaccination controversy simply because he was East European, Navratilova was quick to pounce and clarify.
“I didn’t change my attitude towards Novak at all . I agree with him on most things, I disagree with him completely on one. Anything else you got?” said Navratilova.
Martina Navratilova and her ‘vocal’ side
Navratilova has also been vocal on the subject of free transgender inclusion in professional sports in the recent past and some have even criticized her for ‘bigotry’.
The former multiple-time Grand Slam champion recently bashed up a Twitter user who commented on one of her anti-abortion memes, saying she will always stand for a women’s right for choice to the time when she wants to have a family.

In fact, the former Czech player recently even compared US anti-abortion laws to the treatment of women in Iran. The American legend said that the same people who think it’s wrong to force women to wear a hijab think it’s ok to force women to carry a child to term.
Navratilova recently also paid rich tribute to Swiss great Roger Federer and said she was looking forward to seeing his life after retirement while wishing him the best of luck for the future.
“Roger, enjoy your life after tennis. Thank you for being a part of this amazing sport, a massive part of it. You made it look so easy. It was a pleasure knowing you, it was a pleasure watching you play. I am looking forward to the next chapter in your life,” she said.
