It took a lot of physical and mental strength. To finish the match, it was a really mental thing. For sure in the top 3 or top 5 matches I've played in my life.
Sinner said via on-court interview

The Italian was certain that the final match against Medvedev was one of the best and toughest matches he had played in his career. He also revealed that while it was always special playing finals, it was even more so since it was a match against the Russian. He further added:

The last time I won gave me confidence.

However, he also pointed out that the match at Vienna was different compared to their other encounters. He further added:

Today was completely different than last time. I made more serves and volleys there.

He also mentioned that the match required that he adapt to the situation. However, the Italian seemed to be happy with the way he had handled the situation. All in all, it was an incredible show of talent by the Italian.

The first set was an absolute thriller, with it running to a tiebreaker. With neither player willing to give up, the set was truly a battle between equals. However, it was ultimately the Italian who won the set. The second set, while not so thrilling, was won by Medvedev. However, Sinner came in clutch as he took the third set and, ultimately, the trophy.

Sinner had won the match in three sets, with scores of 6-7, 6-4, and 3-6, stopping the Russian from defending his title. Nevertheless, both players showed an amazing show of talent as they played their best tennis. Unfortunately for the Russian, it was Sinner who came out as the better player.
