Jannik Sinner‘s Carota Boys met the Italian tennis player as they opened up about his humility and generosity. The Carota Boys are a group of Italian men who dress up as carrots and follow Jannik Sinner around as they support him in all his matches. While the group have had a brief meeting with their idol once, this is the first time a dedicated rendezvous has been set up between them.
The Carota Boys are a group of six friends from Revello, Italy who travel around the world to support Jannik Sinner. The boys have claimed that their aim is to promote Italian tennis and support Sinner as much as they can. They do so by travelling the world dressed as carrots and attending every event Sinner plays at. The Italian tennis player is the no.1 player in the nation. Therefore it is inevitable that he has gained some attraction among the people of Italy. The group first got the idea when they saw Sinner munching on a carrot between sets.

Alessandro Dedominici, a sixth of the Carota Boys said:
You know that scene, for us it's like an iconic scene in Vienna. It was like four years ago. During a change, he ate the carrot and a friend of us said, 'Guys, it could be nice you know? Take this idea.
He revealed that this was the backstory behind them dressing up as carrots in every one of the Italian’s matches. That was when the group decided that they would take the carrot suits and go to the tournaments.
We’ve seen their big, orange, carrot suits all over the world.

We bought these costumes on the web. Then we entered in these in Rome, in the Internazionali. On that day, Jannik would play on the center court.
The boys revealed that their aim was to find a different way to support the World No. 4. player. Another one in the group said:
It's not just the tennis player, It's the guy, you know? Because he's so humble, he's a fighter. We love the attitude he has.
The Carota Boys emphasized that even though Sinner is a big tennis player, they were also impressed by humility, which led to their unquestioning support to the Italian.

Tomorrow we are going to meet Jannik for the first time. It's unbelievable.
