The Italian has always appreciated Federer and always hopes to play against him. It might not be possible now, but the Italian still hopes to play against Federer.
It has always been Roger Federer. I dreamed of playing with him but unfortunately, it never happened. Who knows if one day we will be able to do a performance together? I’d really like to. He is a very good person as well as being a great champion.Said the Italian in an interview with an Italian newspaper Libero Quotidiano.
Earlier in the year, Sinner had mentioned that he was sad that he couldn’t play a match against Federer. Just as the 22-year-old was rising his ATP ranks, Federer was out of tennis due to major knee issues and eventually retired, leaving no chance for Sinner to play against him.
Jannik Sinner proud of his victories in recent tournaments

I just focus on the next point to conquer. I always believe it until the end. The beauty of our sport is also that: that the match isn't over until the last point. I am very proud of these victories against Djokovic and I also want to thank my doubles partner, Lorenzo Sonego, with whom we won that very important match.Said Sinner in the interview.
