Former American legend Martina Navratilova is considered to be one of the greatest players the sport has ever seen. She has inspired people by opposing injustice against women and the LGBTQ+ community. She never compromises on her principles to voice her opinions for what she believes in.
A ‘white’ American was accused of shooting 3 people and killing 2 in a mega rally in August 2020 when he was 17 years old. Now, the American jury has found him out of guilty citing that the shooting was nothing but out of self-defense. Navratilova who has always been popular on social media for her unfiltered opinions tweeted against this decision venting out all her anger.
She wrote that she expected nothing other than a death sentence for the accused. Her actual words, “Totally unconscionable- I still can’t believe this piece of sh*t wasn’t convicted of murder“.
The 18-time Grand Slam champion does not mince her words while standing up for a cause she firmly believes in. This was already proven in a lot of circumstances. The recent issue is just another chapter of that.

Martina Navratilova is one of the greatest players of all time and her rivalry with Chris Evert in the 1970s and 1980s took women’s tennis to new levels. She has had a very long professional career and played in four different decades, starting from 1974 to 2006, and won 18 major titles in singles, 31 titles in doubles, and 10 titles in mixed doubles.
Her problems with Trump’s typical mindset are not new. She has often tweeted about her opinions with the ex-president, including various conserving issues like abortion, same-sex relationships/marriage, arms policies, drug use, and many other problems. That’s not all, as per the popular personality herself, life as a lesbian in America is worse compared to that of a lesbian in Europe.

This has been more evident in recent times when she was seen continuously taking a brutal dig at the Republican ideas without any particular reason.
