Martina Navratilova enraged at the EuroCentralAsian Lesbian Community for leaving lesbians out of the conference, says “This is f****d up”

Martina Navratilova
Former World No. 1 Martina Navratilova has once again made her voice heard in the protection of the LGBTQ community. Navratilova had first identified herself as bisexual in the 1980s before re-identifying herself as a lesbian following various incidents.
The tennis great has since used her position and media attention to speak for the LGBTQ community and get them equal rights and opportunities. She has been active in raising issues not only in the USA but also across the globe thanks to social media.
One such incident happened recently when Navratilova lashed out at the EuroCentralAsian Lesbian Community. The community is holding a conference in Budapest and faced criticism when it was brought to notice that the community is itself discriminating against the lesbian community.
“This is fucked up… biological men now identifying as lesbians are welcome while biological lesbians identifying as lesbians are not. Do I have this right? At a lesbian conference,” tweeted Navratilova.
“If you don’t see the misogyny here, you are part of the problem,”: Martina Navratilova

With the LGBTQ community getting much-needed attention in recent years, activists and supporters like Navratilova were boiling with anger upon finding out the details of the conference. Navratilova got the information from Faika El-Nagashi, an Austrian MP who was denied entry to the conference.
While many sympathised and shared the same concern as Navratilova, quite a few tried to justify the move and received a befitting reply from many Twitters users and the former tennis pro who has not shied away from taking on social media users and calling them out for various things.
