In a new post on Twitter, tennis legend Martina Navratilova yet again targeted Donald Trump which caught the eye of several American people thereby making it viral. In a post, a journalist named David Pepper shared a new concern speaking about how far Americans have come from twenty ago before and settled to where they are now at the moment.
The journalist used a whiteboard to explain how the country went from having no photo ID rules to now using them all throughout the States. She posted a video along with the caption, “Easy to forget that two decades ago, there were no states w photo-ID laws, (and no issue of in-person voter fraud) Now they’re everywhere. It’s a case study of how suppression sets in to battle a myth.”
The video focused on how none of the American people needed a photo ID to vote for the legislature until 2005. Martina used this incident to bash former American President Donald Trump thereby calling him out as the ‘orange guy’. She retweeted the original post with a caption saying, “The orange guy has tried to torpedo everything- education, postal service, FBI, voting, our military. Etc. And it has worked.”
How has Martina Navratilova bashed Donald Trump in the past?
Since Trump was appointed as the new American president way back in 2017, Martina has always criticized him one way or the other. Be it wearing political dress codes on matchday or bashing him on social media, Martina has barely rested when it has come to giving Trump a lesson. Way back in the year 2019, she wore a hat that had the word ‘impeach’ written on it as a reference to Trump.
Despite it going against Wimbledon’s dressing policies which said that no political statement on dresses would be allowed, she donned the hat quite confidently.
In The Late Late Show during the year 2017, she even portrayed Donald Trump as a threat to both the world and America. She said, “I think he’s a threat to the world, not just to our country.”
