The unfortunate violence that’s hovering over the United States of America has got everyone talking yet again. Repeated instances of such horrific incidents have not only spread fear in the minds of the people but also concern for the country’s future as a safe place.

With the fear of not returning home spreading or rather increasing on a daily basis, the thought of traveling to states is certainly going through a lot of thought. In all this chaos, tennis legend Martina Navratilova had a few words to share with the public.

“Pretty sure this is not the kind of country our founders dreamed about. This is not FREEDOM” said the former world no.1. The words must be hers but the concerns that she has voiced are a collective worry for the entire nation. The legend clearly has questioned the democratic freedom that the country proudly presents itself as. She certainly wants to put it forward that mass killing isn’t a product of any democratic freedom country.

Freedom also means freedom of life and with the mass killing around the States that aspect is absent. Navratilova also expressed that the present issue is not what the founders would have hoped for. Fans with Navratilova would hope for improvement as this repeated killing won’t help the case.

In a response to Kevin Sorbo‘s tweet American ace Andy Roddick expressed his opinion on the prevailing issue. Sorbo denied the existence of Assault Rifles comparing the term with the inexistence of Assault Cars.

Roddick responded to his tweet by saying that an individual gets a license to drive a car only after he passes all the tests required. Also, there are many rules to follow when one drives a car. He demanded the same of guns as well. He said that guns should be licensed only after the necessary tests are done.

The government may or may not implement these rules. However, all that the fans want is a concrete change so that the States can experience a better future.
