While being absent from the tennis court, Kyrgios is quite active on the social media platform. Recently, the Wimbledon finalist had an entertaining exchange with the American actor and comedian, Ben Stiller. The 57-year-old responded to Kyrgios’s Tweet regarding his offer for the coaching service.

Their interactions goes back to the 2022 Indian Wells Masters where Stiller attended the quarter-finals match of the Australian player. While serving for the third set against Rafael Nadal, the World No.26 had an ugly exchange with a spectator. Kyrgios included Stiller as an example, while telling the tennis fan not to teach him tennis just like he is not preaching acting to the 57-year-old.

Nick Kyrgios took to Twitter to express his viewpoint on the disqualification of the women doubles players at the French Open. The women doubles duo, Aldila Sutjiadi and Miyu Kato, faced an on-court elimination from the tournament after an unintentional hit to a ball kid.

During the match, the Japanese player, Kato, was gently passing the ball to the ball kid on the opposite side of the court. This resulted in the ball kid being hit unintentionally on the chest. The chair umpire took notice of the situation and issued warning to the player. However, the opposite partnership of Marie Bouzkova and Sara Sorribes Tormo argued for fair treatment and demanded disqualification for the players. As a result, the tournament officials defaulted the players from the tournament and handed the quarter-finals seat to Bouzkova and Sorribes Tormo.

The Australian player openly cited the decision of the tournament as ‘justified’. Kyrgios said that the ongoing complaints are unnecessary as the defaulting rules have nothing to do with the intent.
