In keeping in line with his playing style, Nick Kyrgios had a hard-hitting response to journalist James Gray’s remark of disliking a poster featuring Kyrgios and doubles partner Thanasi Kokkinakis celebrating with the accompanying caption “It started with a bromance.” The Australian replied to Gray’s tweet with,” Why not? Coz u had no mates you grew up with and then won a slam with? Or?”

His fans received the tweet well. One of them backed Kyrgios by saying,” I’m happy someone in the tennis world is giving it like there get all these reporters putting shit out everyday and they think player should just take it.”  Kyrgios has recently been actively hitting back at criticisms on social media.
