World No. 20, Nick Kyrgios, is popularly known to be an avid basketball fan and loves to play the sport too. Since the Australian was a young kid, Kyrgios wanted to be a basketball player, but his parents had other plans. The player often expresses his love for the sport on his social media handles.
Numerous people have questioned why he wasn’t selected to play in this year’s All-Star Celebrity Game due to his undisputed agility, fast reactions, and ball-handling abilities. The reason could be found in Kyrgios’ current injury recovery, which may have limited his ability to participate in the match.
He says he’ll “be back” in his Instagram story, suggesting that he intends to return to the court in a better position. There is no doubt that Kyrgios will be a serious contender for next year’s All-Star Celebrity Game given his exceptional abilities and passion for the sport. Kyrgios previously participated in the NBL All-Stars game last year.
“I shoulda been in the All-Star game, no one guarding me. I’ll be back.” Nick posted. The star is currently recovering from a knee injury, which forced him to pull out of the Australian Open. Kyrgios also underwent surgery for the same.
