Former world No. 1, Martina Navratilova, takes a fresh dig at the former American President, Donald Trump. Earlier yesterday, she took to Twitter to post an old picture that says, “Nobody is above the law.” That’s not all; Martina has been against Trump forever now and does not miss out on any opportunity to slam him through her social media handles.
Martina shared a photo on Twitter while participating in the agitation on December 17–18, 2019, when a series of demonstrations were held in the United States. It was held in support of the impeachment of Donald Trump and his removal from the office of U.S. president. Tens of thousands of people participated in the protest with the message “Nobody is above the law.”
The American’s Twitter post says “Still true today- NOBODY is above the law. Impeached twice – should have been convicted, especially the 2nd time. #chargetrump.” Earlier yesterday, she re-shared a picture of her that dated from 2019 related to the protest and reminds everyone that it’s still true and demanded charges against Trump.
The 66-year-old American legend has always been vocal when it comes to politics. She never hesitated to opinionate her views on the ongoing issues in America and across the world. Martina Navratilova recently took a serious dig at the US congresswomen too who were supporters of Donald Trump. Earlier this week, the former President hits back at Joe Biden and declares himself a victim. Martina hence took to her Twitter and said he is whining again. Former President declared he was giving “the real State of the Union” Tuesday in a bitter campaign speech disguised as a rebuttal to current President, Joe Biden’s State of the Union address. Trump tried to spread fear about immigration and characterized himself as “a victim.”
When Trump called himself a victim and blamed Joe Biden, Martina replied and said “Speaking of choice between normal and cr*zy- as per Sarah Huckabee – the victim is whining again and still…” She won 18 Grand Slam titles in her career, of which nine are from Wimbledon, three are from Australian Open, two from the Roland Garros, and four titles at the U.S. Open.
