Novak Djokovic recently posted a video of him entering Rome and being excited to feature in the Ryder Cup, which is scheduled to start on September 29, 2023. The 24-time Grand Slam Champion will compete in the All-Star match of the prestigious golf tournament in Rome. 

The Serbian legend, Novak Djokovic, will try his hand at the golf club, replacing the tennis racket just weeks after winning a historic 24th Grand Slam at the US Open 2023, defeating Daniil Medvedev in the finals.

As expected, tennis fans all over cannot wait to see the Serbian legend handle the golf club. Fans are pretty sure to see Djokovic battle pretty hard to stop his tennis swing and stance from influencing his golf game.

However, more interestingly, Novak Djokovic is not the only big name in this All-Star match. He will be accompanied by stars of other sports, including the likes of famous footballer Gareth Bale and Formula 1 driver Carlos Sainz. 

For the uninitiated, the Ryder Cup is a golf tournament played between Europe and the US. It is held once every two years. It is managed by both the PGA of the US and the Ryder Cup of Europe. It is always hosted by either of the two countries.

Novak Djokovic has planned his schedule and will take some time off to play golf

Novak Djokovic won a historic 24th Slam at the US Open this year. He also reached the World No. 1 position following his win. The Serbian has announced his schedule for the upcoming season, avoiding the Shanghai Open in China to concentrate on the more important tournaments remaining this season. This decision of his might not make him end the year as the top-seeded player, giving an opportunity to Carlos Alcaraz and Daniil Medvedev to steal that spot.

Djokovic is featured in the Ryder Cup, which is scheduled to start on September 29. Novak Djokovic will be joined by stars and legends from other sports like Gareth Bale, Carlos Sainz, and many more. He will be taking some time away from tennis to compete at the golf tournament in Rome. 

This breakaway from the sport will definitely be a much-needed rest for his mind and body before he returns to the court for the remainder of the upcoming season.
