Jonathan Erlich and Novak Djokovic

Former World No.1 Novak Djokovic has suffered many ups and downs this year due to his vaccination status but his fans are ready to see him in the Laver Cup as he’ll play alongside longtime rivals Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer, together forming the Team Europe. Djokovic missed the Australian Open as well as the US Open this season because of vaccination mandates.

Now, it is also confirmed he’ll be back with his former doubles partner Jonathan Erlich to play at the Tel Aviv Open. Jonathan Erlich is Israel’s Davis Cup captain. Novak Djokovic also pulled out of the Davis Cup due to the wedding of his brother Djordje. Not only did the 21-time grand slam champion miss the US Open but he was not allowed to play in Montreal as well as the Cincinnati Masters.
