After a much entertaining 2023 season, the 2024 season is officially set to begin. The first Grand Slam title of the year, i.e., the Australian Open, which sort of kicks off every season with a bang, is set to be played from January 14 to January 28, 2024, at Melbourne Park

The entry list for the tournament has already been announced, and it has already increased the excitement for the season tenfold. Spanish legend Rafael Nadal is set to make a comeback in this tournament.

He will be taking on arch-nemesis Novak Djokovic, who performed sensationally in the 2023 season and won three Grand Slam titles (Australian Open, French Open and US Open).

The Serb ended the season as the year-end World No. 1, and fans will be looking forward to any possible matchup in the tournament between the two.

The top 32 seed for the Australian Open 2024 has already been released. Apart from that, the list contains the names of the 104 men’s players taking part in the tournament.

Top 32 Seeds at the Australian Open 2024

The top 5 seeds in the tournament are Novak Djokovic, Carlos Alcaraz, Jannik Sinner, Daniil Medvedev, and Andrey Rublev, respectively. Jannik Sinner and Novak Djokovic are the two players who have been in the best of form lately, and the fans expect great performances from them in the hard-court tournament.

Many prominent players including Stefanos Tsitsipas, Alexander Zverev, Holger Rune, Hubert Hurkacz, and Taylor Fritz have made it to the top 10 seeds despite a tad inconsistency throughout the 2023 season. Holger Rune, in particular, was struggling in the later half of the 2023 season but fortunately performed well in the ATP Finals.

Some great players like Stan Wawrinka, Andy Murray, Christopher Eubanks, Matteo Berettini, and Gael Monfils, who missed the tournament last year, are on the list, as well as unseeded players. They will thus have more shoes to fill at the 2024 Australian Open.

However, all eyes will be on Rafael Nadal, who is making a much-awaited comeback after not playing for the entire 2023 season. He got injured during the 2023 Australian Open and is making a comeback at the Grand Slam after exactly a year. His current rank is 664, and he is the third-last player on the list.
