Former World No. 1 and 20-time Grand Slam Champion, Roger Federer, recently announced his retirement at the end of 2022. Federer quit tennis after playing his last tournament, the 2022 Laver Cup. The Swede bid an emotional goodbye to the sport after playing an amazing 22 years of spellbinding tennis.

Federer is known for his calm on-court presence and is widely popular for his “effortless” game. Mary Joe Fernandez, former world No. 4 and Olympic bronze medalist, is Tony Godsick’s wife. Tony Godsick represents both Federer and Juan Martin Del Potro. In a recent podcast with Patrick McEnroe, Mary spoke about Roger Federer and his kid.

Furthermore, his children are also super enthusiastic about the sport. Mary explained that one of the kids loved the sport more than the others. Federer is the father of four children, consisting of two pairs of twins, Myla and Charlene, and Lenny and Leo. The children’s love for the sport really excites Roger and his wife, Mirka..

“I’m sure Roger still loves tennis so much. All his children play tennis and one of them really likes it, which is great fun for him and his wife Mirka. They love tennis so much. They are like they have to play all the time, over and over again. Finally, one of them really shows great interest in tennis. And it’s very, very cool to see.” Mary said.

Roger Federer launches new Wilson racquet

The Wilson ProStaff V14 racket’s debut has been confirmed by Roger Federer. Since 1998, Federer, a former 20-time Grand Slam champion, has served as the company’s brand ambassador. Federer and Wilson have been collaborating roughly since the Swiss player’s professional career started and has continued even after his retirement.

The Wilson ProStaff Racquet, created by the late Wilson Sports racquet designer Pierre Babolat, was Roger Federer’s go-to club. It was initially introduced in 1984. A newer and better Wilson ProStaff V14 has been released. Unfortunately, Federer will not be seen in action with the revamped version of his iconic racquet.
