A journalist had taken to Twitter (Now called X) to post translations of an interview Stefanos Tsitsipas had given in Greek. He captioned it with ‘Tsitsipas reveals that Badosa has made him change the perspective of his career and his ambitions as a tennis player.’ However, Tsitsipas’ girlfriend Paula Badosa felt the need to defend her boyfriend with a comment to the journalist’s tweet.
The journalist quoted Tsitsipas, “I still think about winning my first Grand Slam and reaching the top of the ATP rankings, but that is no longer everything for me. It was an idea I was addicted to when I was young and it deprived me of things.” The Greek had also mentioned in that interview that he was in no way satisfied with his success so far. However, he established that he wanted to establish a balance between his career and his personal life. He also mentioned that he would like to “build something with someone” and advance his career with that person. The journalist in question had taken an ‘accusatory’ tone against Badosa for ‘changing his ambitions’.
However, Badosa replied to this with, “Always misinterpreting words. It makes me tired that you always have to judge and find blame.” She also said that it was ‘incredible’ that he had to explain himself. However, this online battle between the two continued. She also mentioned that she had been injured for a while and was unable to train.
The Tsitsipas-Badosa relationship has always been open for public speculation. The couple have always been in support of each other in tournaments and otherwise. However, the tennis world seems to be constantly speculative about the nature of their relationship.

Stefanos Tsitsipas claims that Paula Badosa has changed his approach to the sport
Greek Stefanos Tsitsipas has commented in an interview that his relationship with Paula Badosa has completely changed his approach to the sport. “Having Paula Badosa in my life helps me a lot. It has changed my approach to the sport in a way I would never have expected,” said the Greek.

Tsitsipas and Badosa have always been out and about about their relationship. The Greek has often opened up about how the Spaniard had changed his life. He has also mentioned that she has made him look at the sport in a different way.
However, he has been criticized for giving more importance to his girlfriend than the sport. After his early upset at the US Open, fans have been even more critical about their relationship.
