In an interview with the media outlet Wide World of Sports, Wally Masur expressed his view on the matter, saying that he would be curious to see how the 37-year-old fares against the young opponents in five-setters.

Masur also talked about the fact that Nadal is not among the players to lie down without any fight and is worth every single penny if you are going to watch the great man play.

We keep our fingers crossed because he's definitely one of the guys I just love watching, I love the way he goes about his business. He's a consummate professional and if you pay money to go and watch Rafa play, you're going to get your money's worth.

Novak Djokovic expects Rafael Nadal to bring the best version of himself to the AO

While the entire tennis industry awaits the chance to watch a match between two of the biggest rivals in the sport, Novak Djokovic gave his views on the comeback of his longtime rival.

Nole wants Nadal to bring the best version of himself to the Australian Open

He’s not a kind of a player that will come back to the tour just to play, let’s say, on a medium level, play a few matches. He wants to win titles, he wants to be the best, that’s why he is who he is: a legend of our sport.

Djokovic has also asked Nadal to not just look at the Australian Open as a comeback tournament but also to try and make it tough for him at the championship.

He wants Rafa to create a competition for him and make it tough to win the title. It was evident from the words of the Serbian that he is looking to face his longtime rival at least once more this year, if possible.
